SAIGON NEWPORT EXPANDS ITS DEPOT NETWORKS

Description
To better meet the increasing demand for empty container services, as well as to reduce pressure for Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal, Saigon Newport Corporation has opened several new depots. This is also a step to prepare for the removing of Tan Cang area next year.

On December 23rd 2014, Tan Cang Logistics JSC put in operation the new Tan Cang - My Thuy Depot in District 2, HCMC. With total area of 11 hectares, Tan Cang - My Thuy Depot will help increase capacity of empty containers at Cat Lai area, and improve SNP's service quality.

In August, Saigon Newport also opened Tan Cang - Hiep Luc Depot at Industrial Cluster in District 2, with main purposes as warehousing services, stuffing/ unstuffing services, container handling services...

In District 9, SNP also put in operation Tan Cang - Suoi Tien Depot with total area of 5 hectares for M&R services, this is also an important area after changing function of Tan Cang Terminal.
