THE RAPID GROWTH OF 44% IN VOLUME SET BY TCIT
In the year of 2014, in spite of continuing facing the cutthroat competition among all containers at Cai Mep area, TCIT successfully received more 02 services calling its berths as from the first days of 2014. Currently, TCIT is weekly serving 08 international container vessels to/from East-Coast U.S, West-Coast U.S, Europe and some Asian countries such as Japan, Taiwan, China, Philippine, etc. In the first 6 months of 2014, TCIT welcomed such 200 vessels with the total throughput of 441.773 teus which attained 68% of yearly plan and increased 44% compared to the same period of 2013.
From April 2014, TCIT has officially extended & utilized 300m of berth of TCCT in order to continually improve service quality for meeting our customers’ demand of berth with the purpose of cutting fuel cost and saving berthing time. With the lengthened berth, TCIT has operated berths of 890m in total length including 09 STS cranes, 20 RTG, 01 RMG crane for barge operation and 40 trucks. It leads to the increase of annual capacity up to 1.8 million teus and helps TCIT to simultaneously serve 03 vessels with the capacity of from 8,000 to 10,000 teus.
While connecting with TCCT’s berth, TCIT also arrange ships to call TCOT (previously named as ODA) with 600m of berths located in downstream of Cai Mep, enhancing the capabilities to handle ships and service quality for shipping lines and customers.
The above achievements help TCIT keep the leading position of operating container terminal at Cai Mep area with the market share of 82%.

Eventhough anew established subsidiary, SNP Logistic has been quickly capturing the own market segment. SNP Logistic is serving 23 important customers which are stable and high revenue in over 150 various customers. The revenue increases rapidly by 238% that compares to 2013, profit ups to 168% as same as quarter of 2013. As planning,
SNP Logistic aims to get revenue at 800 at 2017.With the fast development, SNP Logistics proudly affirms its reputation in logistic field and we will become a leading industry company in VIETNAM LOGISTIC market in near future.
SNPL always keeps developing fastly by upgrading capacity, providing the best services quality which match with customer’s requirement. After 2 years of operation, SNPL already settled 12 representative offices, logistic networking in Vietnam. There are 3 Northern offices at Mong Cai, Hanoi, Hai Phong; 2 offices at Quy Nhon, Da Nang; 7 offices in the South at Hochiminh city, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Can Tho.

TAN CANG – LONG BINH ICD AND RESULTS OF THE FIRST 6 MONTHS OF 2014
Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD Joint Stock Company is one of SNP’s subsidiaries, established in August 2007 and started to business in August 2009. Over 5 years of operation has made memorable result. At the present, we have total 8 18,000-sqm warehouses; 3 15,300-sqm warehouses; 2 3,600-sqm warehouses; 1 1,600-sqm IMO warehouse, a 1,000-sqm showroom for furniture. The total area is more than 200,000 sqm, consists of Bonded warehouse, Non-bonded warehouse, CFS warehouses, IMO warehouse, Bonded Container yard (BCY). With modern facilities such as: The 2,700-sqm Customs inspection area, 15.6 hectares of Container yard; 10 trailers, 1 X-ray scanning machine invested by Dong Nai Customs and other modern equipments, we always satisfy demand of value customers.
In this year, looking back on 6 previous months with effervescent and hardship, Tan cang – Long Binh ICD has achieved several goals. Accoding to plan, our turnover gets 50.96%, increasing 112.84% in comparison with the same period last year. Specifically, sales of Logistics services get 54.52% of annual plan, an increment of 136.32% compared with last year.
Throughput of warehouse cargo is 523,187 tons, throughput of container yard gets 16,423 tons, and trucking services reach 12,877 teus.
In the last 6 months, we have built and utilized 2 new warehouses: The warehouse no.7 with 18,000 sqm and the warehouse no.1A - which is a joint-venture project of ICD and Sonadezi Cooperation – with 15,300 sqm. These warehouses are fully in use.
We have also developed related services, such as sorting, labeling, managing cargoes based on PO numbers, delivering goods from factory to warehouses and to distribution stores, and providing Customs broker services…
Now, we are building some more warehouses in order to satisfy further demands from customers. Especially a 31,500-sqm warehouse, which is the first warehouse in Vietnam which providing the professional and comprehensive solution for Logistics services, providing storage space and financial services for commercial cargo - by ICD and OCB (Oriental Commercial bank) will be completed by September. Also, by August, we will put into use warehouse No. 11 – with 15,300 sqm. In addition, we are planning to build 3 more warehouses by the end of this year.
Eventhough we are facing many difficulties and challenges, we will keep perfecting and improving the quantity and quality to better meet the increasing demands from customers to become the biggest ICD in Southeast Asia.
