Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Xich – Deputy of Can Tho City People's Committee and Mr. Trinh Ngoc Vinh - Deputy of Can Tho City Transportation and Public Works Department, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hanh – Vice President of SNP Corporation, Colonel Le Cao Thinh – Chief of SNP General Department of Politics, Mr. Nguyen Tho Tri - Deputy Director of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation, Mr. Le Minh Truong – Director of Song Hau Food Company, Mr. Nguyen Van Bich – Director of Tra Noc Port, Major Le Hoang Linh – Chairman of Tan Cang Waterway Transport JCS, and representatives from other Departments of Can Tho City,companies in the province, representatives from SNP Sudsidiaries, and the staff of Tan Cang Waterway Transport JSC.

Tra Noc Port, under Vietnam Southern Food Corporation, consists of berths and buoy-berths that can receive 10,000 – 15,000 DWT vessels; 50,000-sqm warehouse; 10,000-sqm container yard. Tra Noc Port now officially operates logistics services, container transportation by barges, through SNP ports system in Hochiminh city and Ba Ria – Vung Tau, connecting SNP logistics network not only in Can Tho city but also in the Mekong Delta.
The first cooperated container handled at Tra Noc Port
The cooperation enables goods from Tra Nóc Industrial Park and neighbouring area, as well as food from the Mekong Delta, to be transported through SNP network conveniently. Also, this reaffirms an important strategic move of Saigon Newport Corperation (as well as Tan Cang Waterway JSC) in developing and expanding logistics services in Can Tho city and the Mekong Delta.
