On the total area over 4,5ha of Tan Cang – Nhon Trach terminal, Tan Cang Logistcis has been promoted the business activities show a trend toward the professional ICD, backyard for Tan Cang – Cat Lai terminal. Currently, the main activities are depot service, loading/unloading container, creating transport connection between HCM City (Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal) and Nhon Trach Industrial, Dong Nai Province (Tan Cang Nhon Trach Terminal). In addition, the bulk loading/unloading operations, project cargo work for Dong Nai Province, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province…are creating competitiveness for one of Sai Gon New Port Corporation’ s facilities.

The most of customers from Nhon Trach Industry recognized the high effectives of Tan Cang - Nhon Trach terminal. The customers at Nhon Trach Industry haven’t had to wait more 2.30 hours (in good traffic conditions) for few containers transported from Tan Cang – Cat Lai terminal to Nhon Trach Industry by road, with Tan Cang - Nhon Trach, now the customers have one more choise which is more effective transport service by water from Tan Cang Cat Lai terminal to Tan Cang Nhon Trach terminal, is taken over 40 minutes with the request of more than 50 container per time. Now, the contractors are Au Chau Logistics, Inter Logistics are very pleased with these services to meet the high demands of their big customer like Formosa Textile, Vedan, Hualon … With the contractors and customers, all cost estimates and time with “Effective Supply Chains Solutions” of Tan Cang Logistics through Tan Cang Nhon Trach’s activities is the good answer. The throughput of Tan Cang - Nhon Trach has been continued to increase from the end of Dec.2011. The throughtput Tan Cang - Nhon Trach terminal reach 1000 containers/ months, the bulk cargos reach about 500 tons/ months. In addition, Tan Cang Logistics is accessing to the big coal to serve the electric demand in Nhon Trach Industry.
On Jan.2012, The Department of Transportation under The People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province has been officially licensed for operation for Tan Cang - Nhon Trach becomed the inland port. The investor is Tan Cang Logistics who is developing this plan, coordinated with the local government to solve the traffic trouble in/out the factory at Nhon Trach Industry. In other hand, the investment in upgrading infractructure and equipment at Tan Cang Nhon Trach terminal are being strongly supported by Sai Gon New Port Corporation in order to receive the vessel 5000-10.000 DWT at Tan Cang - Nhon Trach Terminal as soon as posible.
