In August, the cargo volume of the warehouses was 32,292 tons- raised by 350 tons- an increase of equivalent 1.10% in comparing to those of July. The volume of the bounded warehouse increased 1,930 tons ( 33.56%), those of the domestic and CFS warehouses decreased 8.25 % and 2.42% respectively.
The cargoes at the inspection CY raised sharply- about 62.66 %. The clients of the inspection CY feel satisfied with the service quality here. The area of the leased area of warehouse increased 2,740 sqm or 5.57%.
Generally, the throughput of the CY increased considerably and the cargo volume through the bounded warehouse keeps its stable growth
Warehouses No 4 & No 8 completed and came into operation in August. Now There are five warehouses in Long Binh ICD with the total area of 90,000 sqm ( 18,000/ a warehouse). The warehouse occupancy is 75% in August. The canteen and tennis court has also been compeleted and operational now
Long Binh ICD has been improving its formalities relating to the warehouse and CY services as well as operation, setting the service of the Logistics connection, enlarging the customers’ network. Long Binh ICD is seeking the provider of the warehouse management software, deploying the application of IT to the gate management, software of the WMS and bar code, building the standard procedures as per ISO 9001:2008 standard to enhance the service quality and meet the customers’ expectation
