In March, 2012, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) welcomed two new vessels. In March 16th 2012, TCIT welcomed the first vessel of Loop 1 service, named MOL COURAGE 001W10 operated by the G6 Alliance including 06 shipping lines:MOL, Hyundai, APL, NYK, OOCL, Hapag Lloyd. Her route includes Kobe – Nagoya – Shimizu – Tokyo – Hong Kong – Cai Mep (TCIT) – Singapore – Jeddha – Suez – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Southampton – Le Havre – Suez – Singapore – Hong Kong – Kobe. In March 27th 2012, TCIT welcomed the first vessel of the HS3 service, routes to: Osaka – Yokkaichi – Yokohama – Tokyo – Hong Kong – Singapore – Pork Kelang (North) – Jakarta – Port Kelang (North) – Singapore – Cai Mep – Hong Kong – Osaka.
In March, the output of TCIT increased stably. Total throughput was 33,248 teus, grew up to 12,55% compared to February in which export held 52%, import held 48%. Also, handling productivity was at high level: net productivity of 118,01 containers/hour and portstay productivity of 93,13 containers/hour.
With the modern equipments and highest handling productivity in Cai Mep area – 190moves/hour/vessel, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal is improving its service quality in order to bring benefits to all our customers.
