The volume via TCCT in first six months of 2010 reached 130, 196 TEUs- surpassing the annual projected plan. TCCT has received 168 voyages (74 mother vessels & 94 vessels from Cambodia to TCCT for trans-shipment).
The productivity at TCCT has been improved and increased. The average net and port-stay productivity of the Second Quarter was 80cont/vh and 59cont/vh respectively. The increase of the handling productivity has made the shipping lines shorten the port stay time.
The Barging of outbound containers from terminals and ICDs of HCM city to TCCT for loading and inbound cargoes from TCCT to HCM City has been carried out promptly, safety, smoothly and satisfied the clients.
TCCT has been coordinating with other ICDs of SNP like Tan Cang- Long Binh and Tan Cang-Song Than ICDs in trucking the import/export containers. That has created more choices for the clients having their export/import cargoes handled at TCCT.
TCCT continues its favorable policies applicable to all clients having their receipt/delivery of containers directly at TCCT such as the discount of lifting on/off charge, Free CY storage up to 14days at TCCT….
Some shipping lines like MOL, NYK, Hanjin ,OOCL have allowed the customers to picking up or return empty containers at TCCT. This has satisfied the demand for empty container of the clients at the surrounding industrial zones like: Phu My, My Xuan, Go Dau, Nhon Trach.
Some more big shipping lines have been interested in opening new direct calling service from TCCT to Europe in the third Quarter of 2010. We hope that these new services shall give more opportunities for exporters and importers and increase competitiveness of Vietnam export cargoes to Europe.
