In January 2012, total warehouse throughput of Tan Cang-Long Binh ICD reached 30,400 tons, increased 8.6 per cent compared to December 2011. Import turnover of cosmetics, coffee products, paper materials and motorbike has increased up to 15,900 tons. In tern of export turnover of plastic resin, coffee products, paper materials, furniture, stationery continuously reached 9,800 tons. Coffee and furniture hit remarkable volume in January. Long Binh warehouses has reached 100% capacity.
The construction of new bonded warehouse No.7 has completed and gone into operation since 16th Jan, 2012. Currently, total area of bonded warehouse is 76,600 sqm. The warehouse size is flexible depending on customer demand.
The customs inspection reached the volume of 1,100 TEUs in the month.
