In March 21st, 2012, the grand opening of Tan Cang-STC Human Resources Development Co.Ltd was solemnly celebrated at Tan Cang Cat Lai Terminal. Total investment of 32 billion VND, Tan Cang-STC Human Resources Development Co.Ltd was established based on the joint venture between SNP and STC-Group (Holland); this STC-Group is a world leader that specializes in maritime training and logistics, along with a Government of the Royal Netherlands sponsor. Tan Cang STC’s headquarters is located in Cat Lai Terminal, which is a training center for staff, management, and an employee that focuses on increasing people’s knowledge and professional skills related to seaport and logistics services in Vietnam. Training topics include: ship’s agent, freight forwarding, ship-broker, terminal operation and management, safety and security, customs administration and documentation, ship-to-shore crane driver, RTG crane driver, fixed-quayside crane driver and terminal truck operators.This is a unique training center in Vietnam in the field of maritime, seaport and logistics; with modern equipments and advanced computer simulation of logistics supply chain and port management; along with the dedicated training software is designed in accordance with Vietnam’ market; the international qualifications are recognized, students may have the opportunity to directly practice their skills.
