In July, the output of Tan Cang-Song Than ICD (ST ICD) increased up to 1.74% compared to the previous month. Warehouse throughput was up to 3.13% while CY throughput likely remained unchanged.
To improve the quality of M&R service, ST ICD has applied new automatic system in inspecting and cleaning containers. According to the design, all empty containers arriving CY at ST ICD will be observed by controlled camera. Then the container’s condition will be verified and sent to the server (it will be sent to the shipping lines via EDI system if required). Empty container shall be cleaned on trailer before being lifted off to CY. A hot water high pressure washer has been also equipped to clean container (output temperature of water could reach 90oC – 1500C).
Along with investing in facility, ST ICD also organizes IICL5 training sessions for staffs and workers, especially for M&R workers at ST ICD to improve their professional skills.
The project is expected to enhance the overall quality of M&R service and reduce time of inspection. ST ICD ensures that 100% of empty containers will be cleaned, in good condition and qualified for stuffing before delivering to customers.
