Saigon New Port Corporation would like to inform shipping lines, shipping agents, shippers, and consignees about the start of operation of Tan Cang- Central terminal (TCMT)- a subsidiary of SNP. TCMT Terminal is located at Area 8- Hai Cang Ward- Quy nhon City, Binh Dinh province (next to Quy Nhon Port). TCMT Terminal shall welcome the first container vessel on 8th February 2011
Tan Cang Central JS Company was established on 16 March 2010 pursuant to the Decision No.367/QD-TC-HDQT. As a subsidiary of Saigon Newport Corporation, TCMT implements the strategy to expand market share and scope of activities to all parts of the country, attracting cargoes from Central Southern and Highland of Saigon Newport Corporation. The facilities of the company include one berth which can accommodate vessels up to 15,000 DWT ; LOA 175 m. The water draft at berth is 8.6m. The terminal is equipped with two Libeherr quayside Crane (lifting capacity :36T), two reach-stakers & seven Prime Movers. TCMT terminal has been designed as multi-functional terminal which can receive specialized container, bulk cargo and military vessels.
