As you all know, SNP, at shipping lines' request, manages and releases nominated empty containers to customers in accordance with particular equipment management of each shipping line. In this current situation, there is still high empty container storage volume at Cat Lai Port & Tan Cang Terminal although SNP has tried all measures in increasing handling equipment, co-ordinating with nearby depots to manage empty containers of your good shipping lines. Therefore, the release of nominated empty containers remains passive, leading to unobjective rating of SNP's service quality.
In order to solve the afore-mentioned situation, SNP would like to advise regulations on the management and release of nominated empty containers at SNP's yards as follow :
