During week 38, Cat Lai port handled 42vessels, a decrease of 3 vessels in comparison with the previous week. The average berth-stay time was 18.8 h/vessel and departing-waiting time was 1.6 h/vessel (decreased by 0.2 h/vessel). Net productivity was 46.0 cont/vessel/h and Port stay Productivity was 39.5 cont/h/vessel. The maximum productivity was 67.4 cont/vessel/h when handle Vessel STX SINGAPORE_SPO-30S/N. It can be said that: the vessel releasing productivity (both Net and Port stay) of Cat Lai Port generally increased (Net: 0.8 cont/h, Port stay: 0.2 cont/h) thank to suitable arrangement of berth equipment without arising issues affected on vessel handling and berth plan. There last week was no berth congestion, which facilitated vessel releasing. In spite of large yard occupancy and handling but thank to the stability of vessel releasing and reasonable berth plan together with perfect combination between planners and yard operator, which made a great contribution to relieve all yard vessel releasing issues. Several vessels, completing handling in a relatively short time, were compelled to wait for high tide for unberthing, which resulted in a minor drop in Port stay productivity.
