In the week 37, Cat Lai Port accommodated and dispatched 32 voyages – a decrease of 3 voyages in comparing to those in the previous week. The vessel average waiting time was only 2.1 hours/vessel. The average port-stay productivity of the week was 38.6cont/vh and net productivity was 46.0cont/vh. Hence the handling productivity of the week increased 7.7% in comparing to the one of the week 36 thanks to the good co-ordination of the relating divisions, smooth performance of the handling equipment and the minimization of the vessel shifting. The best handling productivity of 64.8 cont/vh has been reached with OOCL Acclaim 20S36 at Terminal B. The average productivity of the vessel whose discharging and loading was done by TOPX was 45.2 cont/vh.
The reefer CY occupancy was 112.2% - a higher occupancy than the previous week’s due to the big amount of the inbound reefer containers and the outbound reefer containers concentrated to the port at the weekend for loading onto the Maersk Lines’s vessel. Generally, the good combination among reefer CY, Transportation unit, operation on duty and proper arrangement made the pressure at the reefer CY much decreased.
