According to the schedule of the contract on purchasing of two RTG cranes between Tan Cang Logistics and Kocks Krane GMBH, signed in 9th Jan 2010 with a value over VND 170 billion, the two RTG Cranes are assembling at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal. As expected, two crane will be tested on their driving forces at barge B6 and B7 in late October before going to operate officially in mid of November.

Two new cranes are manufactured usong the most recent and advanced technology, which are able to load two 20 ft containers at the same time. Expected, productivity per crane loading/unloading reach 110.000 teus/ year. The handling capacity of TCL and Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal will be increase when the two new cranes are going to operate.
