Output of TCCT has steadily increased in August in comparing to those of July. The net productivity has improved to reach 88contvessel /hour. Especially, TCCT has been able to handle the OOG containers for those carry the project cargoes.
In August, the volume of export/import of all shipping lines at TCCT increased slightly. In such situation, the operation arrangement of TCCT has still met the requirements of the shipping lines and customer. The container barging between TCCT-Newport, Cat Lai Port and the ICDs in HCM has always ensured the time commitment.
In August, the reefer volume increased sharply both at TCCT and Tan Cang-Cat Lai. To meet the above demand, Tan Cang-Cat Lai have more 200 reefer plugs as well as the supporting electricity generator to serve the above- mentioned reefer increase.
The upgrading and enlarging project of the national road 51 has just been in the progress of completiong. This has created the convenience for all the clients from the surrounding areas like Binh Duong, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, Nhon Trach, Ba-Ria Vung Tau in the receipt/delivery of the containers. More importantly, the road connecting the national road 51 to TCCT namely road 965 has been completed for one-lane. The lane is enough for the vehicles moving to/from TCCT.
Especially, Tan Cang-Cai Mep (TCCT) is the pioneer in the barging services of inbound containers arrived at Cat Lai Teminal to TCCT to deliver directly to the consignees in the surrounding areas as well as barging the export cargo dropped and customs- cleared at TCCT to Cat Lai for loading on the feeder vessels. These services meet the demand of consignees/shippers from the neighboring industrial parks Phu My, My Xuan Phuoc Thai, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Tam Phuoc ... in delivering/receiving containers with the feeders calling at Cat Lai Terminals. KMTC, CMA-CGM, Heung-A, China Shipping, PIL, OOCL, STX are the carriers who have been using these services steadily.
TCCT continued promotion policies applied to the consigness/shippers having the direct receipt/delivery of containers at TCCT such as free or discount Lifting on/off charges, 21 days free storage at TCCT and other preferential policies.
